Nero di Troia (also known as Uva di Troia), is a red grape native to the slopes of Puglia, Italy. An ancient variety, the grape is named after the Puglian town of Troia, which according to legend, was founded by Diomedes after the siege and sacking of ancient Troy. It is mainly used to make fruit-forward, juicy and full-bodied reds.
